Doxy wands are premium wand massagers from the UK, available in corded (plug-in) and rechargeable versions. Their care requirements follow the wand massager pattern — silicone head on ABS body, splash-resistant rather than waterproof — with some differences between corded and rechargeable models.

Corded vs Rechargeable Doxy
The Doxy Original is corded (plugs into wall power). The Doxy 3R is rechargeable. Both have silicone heads on ABS bodies. The corded Original has no battery concerns but requires care around the power cord area. The 3R is IPX4 splash-resistant with USB-C charging. Cleaning Protocol
Doxy’s official FAQ specifies: wipe the head with a damp cloth or spray with toy cleaner and wipe. For the rechargeable 3R, avoid getting the charging port wet. For the corded Original, avoid getting the cord attachment area wet. Both models: clean the silicone head only, let dry fully before use or storage. Do not submerge either model.
Avoid alcohol-based cleaners on the silicone head (dries out silicone over time). Fragrance-free toy cleaner or mild soap on the silicone head (wiped, not immersed) is Doxy’s documented approach.
Doxy Attachment Care
Doxy sells a range of silicone attachments that fit over the head. These can be removed and cleaned separately under warm running water with toy cleaner — they are standalone silicone pieces. Allow to air dry before reattaching. Store attachments with the wand for organization.
Storage
Both Doxy models are large — the Original is approximately 14 inches long. Storage requires a container that accommodates this length. Wrap the power cord around the corded model for neat storage.
